The unique MedArt scanning technology used with FRx Intenz makes it possible to achieve great results in the very focused and localised treatment areas with minimal surface ablation. The combination of very small spot size down to 165 microns and pulse widths down to 0.5 millisecond enables the operator to limit epidermal damage to minimum destruction, whilst large amount of heat convey to deeper tissue layers inducing collagen and elastin formation. The result is achieved with less visible downtime while maximizing the treatment efficacy.

MedArt Scanner Technology with Full Ablative Flexibility

The advanced MedArt scanner enables the user to individualize treatment by selecting density, pattern, and size of treatment area as well as exposure time which controls depth of penetration. A full face treatment can be completed in less than 15 minutes with the help of MedArt scanner.

That means an area of 30 cm2 can be treated in just one minute. The scanner distributes the energy in a uniform pattern of spots, leaving islands of untreated skin between each ablated spot, the surrounding untouched tissue facilitate tissue healing. The penetration depth ensures optimal collagen stimulation for skin tightening and tissue remodeling.

By adjusting the simple control on scanner the spot density can be adjusted to Low (16×16 spots), Medium (24×24 spots), High (32×32 spots) and a pulse width varied from 0.5 – 7 ms, and as well as pattern. The MedArt scanner is not limited just to fractional modes; a special function for 100% ablative-scanning for traditional resurfacing is integrated switching between modes is quick and easy both from the laser panel or from the scanner.
